Mara 'Marnie' Katz, MA | Board Certified Behavior Analyst​ 

 

​Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst, Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Child and Adolescent Psychology, Sensory Inclusion, Evidence Based Treatment for Neurological Disorders. 

 

Marnie Katz is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 8 years experience in the health industry. She specializes in working with a wide range of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or co-morbid neurological disorder (I.e. ADHD, Mood Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Blind, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, PDD-NOS) using evidence based treatment, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. She hold a Bachelors degree in Speech and Language Pathology and a Masters degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology with a specialization in Family Systems. Marnie values understanding various cultures and considers this when providing services to her clients. She has experience in multiple therapeutic fields and appreciates the importance of providing a collaborative approach to therapy. Marnie has experience contracting with the public school systems to bring a collaborative approach to ABA Therapy, as well as provide consistency into the lives of students across environments. 

Marnie is thrilled to bring her experience in supervising BCBA's, practicum students, and Registered Behavior Technicians as a Regional Manager in Chicago to her hometown, Cleveland, Ohio, where she uses her knowledge, passion, and dedication to work with your child.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Ashley Berman is a BCBA native to the Cleveland Area. She has an undergraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from BGSU, and a Masters in Special Education. Ashley has worked in schools, residential facilities, in-patient units, and in home running case management and behavior programming. The primary focus of her training has been behavior reduction of severe behaviors. Ashley’s favorite aspects of working in the field of ABA are skills training and supervision.

Don ran a martial arts school for 30 years to help disadvantaged youth. He also ran youth programs for his church. Don was a Scoutmaster for four different scout troops and spent 5 1/2 years working with special needs children in the community. He is currently a Registered Behavior Technician with Epicenter ABA and educates families on implementing ABA techniques for their children. He also raises corgis. They are cute!

Alyssa Jansen, BCBA

Alyssa began providing 1:1 in home, ABA therapy 14 years ago while in her undergraduate program at Cleveland State University.  Since then, she has gained experience through working at a center based program and has worked in various schools providing consultation services to clients who have been mainstreamed. She have a passion for learning and has found her career rewarding in that she is constantly learning and educating others.

Frankie has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace University. She has been working with children for 5 years through various shadowing and volunteer opportunities. Through volunteer experiences within the Cleveland area, she has had experience working with children who were diagnosed with disorders such as ADHD, conduct disorders, and strong emotional disturbances. These experiences have lead her to working with children with Autism using ABA therapy.

We hire Practicum Students who are seeking opportunity to grow in the field and gain experience in both direct and indirect hours! We offer full time salary roles that allows those seeking indirect hours to grow with us! Give us a call if you are interested in obtaining experience in Assessments, FBA's, Program writing, Supervising others, and more! Our goal is to prepare our practicum students for becoming the most competent BCBA's!
